Cannot watch this any further, you're just too bad at the game. Though I can't exactly blame you completely for that, the controls and game mechanics sometimes take a little while to figure out or get used to. The game is better during repeat playthroughs in my opinion, when you are trying to get a better ranking and understand each level or mechanic better. You aren't the worst person I've seen play this game either, I've seen much worse gameplay. But still, when there's literally being shown on screen the button you are supposed to press and you completely ignore it or proceed to get stuck even if it's for a few minutes, it gets frustrating and continuing to watch would only make me angry. I really despise bad gameplay, hate watching people make mistakes that the average person should be able to avoid. I played better when I was a child, and others in your comments seem to agree so I'm not the only one complaining about bad gameplay. I'm too Judgemental and I won't bother. Instead I'd rather share some of my thoughts and opinions about the game, which may or may not be related to whatever is within the video itself, which might be a long read. Don't want an argument or anything, just sharing because I have nothing better to do and I feel like thinking about Sonic Adventure 2 right now. This game has terrible ports, I'm assuming you are using the steam version which I cannot ever recommend without modding. The gamecube version was what I played when I was younger, loved it back then but when I played on the steam version the game become very frustrating and buggy. Realize why now, ports were made for ports, each port obviously worse than the last. Missing graphics, difference character models, new bugs and glitches, broken sound mixing, broken game mechanics, and worse controls. As soon as I realized this I started modding the game to try and get a better experience and fix what was broken. Even discovered more issues, such as mistranslations or issues with the English acting, figuring out why character interrupted or spoke over each other which was because of the English dialogue animations not being slowed down or something else along those lines. Downloaded a retranslated mod and the story is so much better explained, less weird moments, and the lip syncing is actually good when you aren't using English voice acting. For example, when Sonic calls Shadow a fake hedgehog, what he's actually attempting to say is that he's an impostor. That scene with Shadow claiming to grant Eggman a wish, which is obviously not literal, is actually him declaring he'd grant eggman's wish, "your wish." These things seem small but when every scene is mistranslated like that, no matter how minor, it really damages the story or makes things seem a little dumber or silly. Can't remember every translation issue off the top of my head, but many scenes were ruined because of it. Such as Shadow confronting Rouge about her being a spy or Amy talking Shadow into helping save earth. These things are taken as the writing for the game being bad, when it's the translation of the game that's the problem. English isn't the way to go with this game, not if you want a complete experience. You should try modding the game if you ever feel like playing the game again in the future, it's worth it in my opinion. Game is very controversial it seems, it's either one of the worst Sonic games or one of the best. Personally, I think it's the best. Unlike other Sonic games the fans still want a continuation, remember watching some sort of conference or crowd reaction or whatever you'd call it, they were all chanting for Sonic Adventure 3, even some people responsible for Sonic had expressed a desire to make another adventure game but made no promises and ultimately wouldn't, and that's a sentiment I've seen online quite a bit. There's a reason this game is so beloved by it's fans, unlike other Sonic games that have been considered bad this one has a loyal fanbase, this game is the one people want a continuation for. Sonic 06 was supposed to be that continuation but we know how bad that game ended up. If a game is controversial like this, than it's average at worst, that's how I feel anyway. Cause there's gotta be a reason people feel so greatly about the game so it has to have done something right. Despite what some might say, the game has always been controversial, it wasn't always loved thanks to nostalgia or blind faith, there were people critiquing the game before it was even released if I remember correct, something about tails possibly not being in the game or stuff shown in trailers. Some claim that because it's Sonic we allow bad gameplay or are too forgiving of bad mechanics, but in truth, especially after Sonic 06, it's been judged almost too harshly in my opinion because it's Sonic, because of it's bad reputation. People was nitpick the Sonic games and look for mistakes. Sonic 06 ruined the reputation and turned the fandom against Sonic in a way, expectations much lower but weirdly higher, which is fair considering the mess that game was, and the developers themselves seen to avoid anything related to Sonic 06 desperate to make the same mistakes effecting future games. Not sure how true this is currently, but that's something I've seen. TLDR: Read it, lmao. You'd only waste a few minutes, if you're watching UA-cam or scrolling through the comments you obvious aren't too worried about the time you're spending. Or don't, can't force you or anything. In that case, don't bother responding. Once again, you do whatever you wish, but if you didn't read you probably don't have anything interesting to share or have a good understanding of what I'm saying. I would like actually responses if possible even if I don't plan to respond.
